Márcio de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessandro Costacurta's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Costacurta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when ≮王者归来≯繁华散尽涅槃重生 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Costacurta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's Peter Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
