After 7 minutes, Fabiano Borel made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paradela De Abeleda FC's Xines De Pedro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second Xines De Pedro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fabiano Borel in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jean-Marc Coquerel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Xines De Pedro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute Jean-Cyrille Bellot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines De Pedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Abellan in the 19th minute of play forced Lyon's goalkeeper Jâninho Potiguar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Marco Abellan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paradela De Abeleda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marco Abellan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Paradela De Abeleda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Borel came free, but Xines De Pedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jâninho Potiguar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Abellan in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Fabiano Borel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xines De Pedro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Abellan in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jâninho Potiguar saved Lyon from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Abellan came free, but Jâninho Potiguar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Cyrille Bellot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyon's Jâninho Potiguar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Abellan in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Paradela De Abeleda FC booed when Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antolin Abrego to make the kick off. Lyon's Jonas Botte got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Fabiano Borel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xines De Pedro having to interfere. In the 65th minute Antolin Abrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jâninho Potiguar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Jean-Cyrille Bellot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Marc Coquerel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Xines De Pedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Castelao hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Arturo Scurti's late challenge caught a Paradela De Abeleda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Scurti helped the player get up and apologised. Lyon:s Jâninho Potiguar showed great skill when he stopped Alirio Mangas:s penalty. After 80 minutes of play, Paradela De Abeleda FC's Alirio Mangas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jâninho Potiguar was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Fabiano Borel put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Xines De Pedro. In the 93rd minute, Jean-Cyrille Bellot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Marc Coquerel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xines De Pedro having to make a save. Xines De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Marc Coquerel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Lyon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
