Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Piror FC's Dimo Dameda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Piror FC's Fe Escalona got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Fabiano Borel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Fabiano Borel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piror FC's Dimo Dameda got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Fabiano Borel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oinatz Laje, 2-0. Arturo Scurti hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jâninho Potiguar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fe Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adil Gabet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinatz Laje having to interfere. Piror FC's Oinatz Laje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Borel in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Lyon got a corner. Piror FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristoforo Di Loreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lyon's corner Cristoforo Di Loreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oinatz Laje quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Borel to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Piror FC got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Portochao. The supporters of Lyon booed when Piror FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savion Valines didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Adil Gabet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adil Gabet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adil Gabet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Borel in the 59th minute of play forced Piror FC's goalkeeper Oinatz Laje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oinatz Laje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Gabet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eneko Portochao hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Adil Gabet might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oinatz Laje. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adil Gabet ran back to his position shaking his head. Oinatz Laje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adil Gabet in the 85th minute of play. Oinatz Laje came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyon's Fabiano Borel. But to his dismay, Fabiano Borel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lyon's Jâninho Potiguar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lyon from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Adil Gabet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyon's supporters rose to their feet, but Adil Gabet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oinatz Laje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Piror FC got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Portochao. After 97 minutes of play, Lyon's Adil Gabet made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oinatz Laje was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lyon fully deserved thier win.
