Carolo Birila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tala AFC's Angel Raulo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Raulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Angel Raulo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Carolo Birila. 28 minutes into the game, Potrero FC's Rodrigo Handi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Quirce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Carolo Birila was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Angel Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Raulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Tala AFC's goalkeeper Israel Quirce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Sendoa. A collision led to Tala AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cecilio Luar hit a great ball. Rodrigo Handi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Israel Quirce came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Handi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 44th minute. The Potrero FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tala AFC were winning 2-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Pacorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tala AFC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Potrero FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Dei took the corner. The corner led to Tala AFC's Domingo Nuno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gilberto Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, Potrero FC's Rodrigo Handi made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Quirce was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Roque Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Israel Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rodrigo Handi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tala AFC's Israel Quirce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleuterio Lugo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Angel Raulo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Carolo Birila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
