Hooligan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omid Epping was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Neugebauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angel Neugebauers short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Victor Cabanela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Hooligan's zone, Lauro Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Werners came out of the goal and Lauro Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omid Epping struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Victor Cabanela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hooligan. After a rather tough play, Hooligan's Patrick Wolter got a free kick in the 24th minute. A hard shot 31 in the game by Omid Epping from a close distance when the talented Victor Cabanela managed to make a qualified save. Morata's players were relieved. If Angel Neugebauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angel Neugebauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Victor Cabanela made a huge save. Patrick Wolter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Victor Cabanela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaro Candamil kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A long shot from Mo Bezka in the 46th minute of play was well struck, but Victor Cabanela made a really good save at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Hooligan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morata the free kick. The supporters of Morata booed when Hooligan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Wolter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Hennecke kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Lauro Sauca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolf Werners was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the game, Angel Neugebauer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
