Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Handi started the match with the kick off. Potrero FC's Carolo Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneko Portochao in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Handi in the 3rd minute of play forced Piror FC's goalkeeper Oinatz Laje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Potrero FC's Rodrigo Handi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oinatz Laje. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Adrian Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Oinatz Laje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Honorato Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potrero FC and the Piror FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Honorato Jakue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Jakue was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 19 played minutes Potrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Jakue. Carolo Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimo Dameda in the 21st minute of play. Adrian Stephen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Stephen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Carolo Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fe Escalona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Sendoa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Oinatz Laje skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Piror FC's Oinatz Laje got control of the ball when Gilberto Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Stephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oinatz Laje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ugutz Herbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Sendoa got free with Oinatz Laje in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinatz Laje having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gilberto Sendoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oinatz Laje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. If Fe Escalona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Sendoa in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oinatz Laje saved Piror FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gilberto Sendoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Sendoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oinatz Laje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes of play, Piror FC's Dimo Dameda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Birila was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes in the game, Dimo Dameda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carolo Birila having to interfere. Carolo Birila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimo Dameda in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Dimo Dameda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Birila was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Gilberto Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
