Jean-Cyrille Bellot was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Larsen's Siro Jerardo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Larsen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Ryan Gaschet scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Isusko, making the score, 1-0. In the 18th minute, Ryan Gaschet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Isusko made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Adil Gabet sent off a good shot on target. Ryan Gaschet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cipriano Isusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dylan Guénin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ryan Gaschet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Isusko having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Nestor Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Lyon defense, Melquiades Sugar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan Guénin. The Lyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan Guénin should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Ostadar made a kick off. Lyon's Redouane Meslet suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lyon made a substitution. Patxi Largilliere replaced Redouane Meslet. Marco Lazcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dylan Guénin made a huge save. After having played for 55 minutes, Dario Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Goizeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Ryan Gaschet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lyon's Dylan Guénin got control of the ball when Marco Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Adil Gabet made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Isusko. Larsen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 69th minute Nestor Ostadar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Guénin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Jean-Marc Coquerel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Larsen the free kick. The supporters of Larsen booed when Lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Marc Coquerel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larsen's Dario Goizeder pulled a muscle in his leg after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jean-Cyrille Bellot's late challenge caught a Larsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Cyrille Bellot helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Sugar came free, but Dylan Guénin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th play minute Marco Lazcano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dylan Guénin. 3-3. Oscar Argoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Argoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Larsen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lyon:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Siro Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Guénin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lyon's Ewan Poulin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Larsen's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lyon had won, even though Larsen had held more of the ball.
