Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Morata's Pablo Barro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nestor Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Victor Cabanela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Larsen's Melquiades Sugar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Cabanela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Larsen's Cipriano Isusko got control of the ball when Lauro Sauca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lauro Sauca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Isusko having to interfere. Melquiades Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cabanela having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Ostadar in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Cabanela saved Morata from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Lazaro Candamil had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 31 minutes into the game, Dario Goizeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larsen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morata the free kick. Lauro Sauca struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cipriano Isusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morata. Victor Cabanela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Sauca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Isusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morata's goalkeeper Victor Cabanela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Larsen's Nestor Ostadar in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morata's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Ostadar was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Larsen's goalkeeper Cipriano Isusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Larsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Victor Cabanela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Sugar in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Morata getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ciro Jauregui hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Melquiades Sugar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Cabanela. Morata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Sugar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Lauro Sauca came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Morata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Sauca couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Infante's late challenge caught a Larsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Infante helped the player get up and apologised. Siro Jerardo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Siro Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Siro Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Morata getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pablo Barro hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Melquiades Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Larsen's Siro Jerardo got a free kick in the 90th minute. Enaut Castaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Sugar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Victor Cabanela made a huge save. The Larsen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Larsen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
