With a little luck, Dinazorbahçe's Sümer Karabey got control of the ball when Angel Neugebauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sümer Karabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Neugebauer in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Cengiz Irmak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinazorbahçe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Hooligan's zone, Cengiz Irmak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Werners came out of the goal and Cengiz Irmak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sümer Karabey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Neugebauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Dinazorbahçe's Cengiz Irmak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
