In the 13th minute Igor Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Tarchilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Comăneci in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Hosu to maneuver through the defense. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Bambas in the 19th minute of play. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Anghel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Radu Tarchilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 28th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Argyris Papapetrou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radu Tarchilă. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Asklöv made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Anghel. 52 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Papapetrou came free, but Radu Tarchilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Anghel got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mao Jun Yun made a great header on Strömsbro IF's corner, it was just that SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Călin Bolborici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Asklöv got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Radu Tarchilă handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Hamid Dame heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
