Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jörn Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuuno Tälli in the 13th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Jakobe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Dumitru Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dumitru Doloman made a huge save. In the 24th minute Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner. Harry Ekeberg went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Jörn Holm managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 28th minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoffer Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuuno Tälli in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Jonasson. In the 46th minute, Jörn Holm made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Doloman. Viola Invest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Jakobe to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Jonasson came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuuno Tälli in the 56th minute of play. Viola Invest's attack was well implemented in the 56th minute, but when Kuuno Tälli was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ákos Vincze kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kuuno Tälli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Modig having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viola Invest's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Gabrielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Modig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingemar Jonasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Doloman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viola Invest's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Ekeberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Oakcroft Thrashers's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ingemar Jonasson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman did a great save. In the 91st minute of the match, Kuuno Tälli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christoffer Modig saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute of the match Viola Invest got a corner. Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonin Lauze ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Viola Invest's Stig-Åke Gabrielsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Christoffer Modig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jörn Holm scored 2-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Doloman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Oakcroft Thrashers players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
