The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Vialli got free with Stefan Neubrandt in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Vialli took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Neubrandt. Stefan Neubrandt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Gianluca Vialli came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Vialli couldn't finish the play. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Staikos came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Gianluca Vialli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loukianos Staikos to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Loukianos Staikos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Kaan Aktürk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Loco De la Maza, 2-1. Loco De la Maza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaan Aktürk in the 56th minute. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Falckner FC. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Rodrigo Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco De la Maza came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Falckner FC could leave the field as winners, despite International Thunders having more of the ball for most of the match.
