If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patryk Gecionis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Lara in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guilherme Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior de Moraes in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Guilherme Catarinense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
