An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Cole in the 3rd minute of play forced Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Qu Feng Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Lokon Pøhl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta Negra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lokon Pøhl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Cole scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qu Feng Bin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pan Zhen Fan. If Andy Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Atlético São Sebastião defense, Andy Cole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qu Feng Bin. The Atlético São Sebastião fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qu Feng Bin should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético São Sebastião's zone, Lokon Pøhl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qu Feng Bin came out of the goal and Lokon Pøhl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egun Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Cebo in the 31st minute. Qu Feng Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Andy Cole cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Qu Feng Bin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Hector Bazkoare got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 60 minutes of play, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qu Feng Bin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Jardel Lewandowski replaced Andy Cole. The crowd rose to their feet as Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Qu Feng Bin. That made the score 0-6 after 68 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qu Feng Bin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alejandro Donati's late challenge caught a Floresta Negra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Qu Feng Bin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 81 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Simões came free, but Egun Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Zhen Fan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egun Pais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin got control of the ball when Jardel Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Zonta came free, but Egun Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qu Feng Bin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floresta Negra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético São Sebastião the free kick. 90 minutes into the game, one of Floresta Negra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 91st minute, Godofredo Cebo made a precise shot to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Lewandowski got free with Qu Feng Bin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Floresta Negra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Floresta Negra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
