In the 13th minute, Adhemar Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Allbäcks short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Diguinho da Mata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joinville City - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Drew Zaelani in the 20th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Diguinho da Mata successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 28 minutes, Adhemar Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diguinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Allbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho da Mata having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Santos to make the kick off. Nildo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
