João Francisco Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Abraão made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilton Lira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harold Tronconi got free with Patricio Ugutz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Tronconi in the 12th minute of the match. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Francisco Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Harold Tronconi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Harold Tronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harold Tronconi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Amílton Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luisinho Uribe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Amílton Loyola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. In the 34th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Loyola hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Uribe in the 37th minute of play. Grêmio RK75's Jaime Velloso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro in the 41 minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisinho Uribe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco got control of the ball when Dale Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaká Brasil during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Fernando Guedes was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio RK75's players had a chance to rest. Jorge Carrascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. João Francisco Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grêmio RK75's Marco Aurelio was substituted for Carlos Fernando Guedes. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Tronconi in the 79th minute of play. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Tronconi in the 80th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Montemayor in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenes Montemayor in the 89th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Montemayor came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho Almeida hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Grêmio RK75 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barcellos Mineiro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barcellos Mineiro FC.
