Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Ironside, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 13 minutes, Valdir Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandelocos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poul Stanković in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poul Stanković in the 24th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Poul Stanković who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Poul Stanković took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Garcia in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Poul Stanković made a precise shot to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjørn Ironside in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Poul Stanković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Poul Stanković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poul Stanković in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Poul Stanković was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Poul Stanković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson do Vale was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Poul Stanković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Bjørn Ironside came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bjørn Ironside struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nilson do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Audax Metropolitano. Poul Stanković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Clube Audax Metropolitano were awarded a corner. Claudinho Quadros went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Clube Audax Metropolitano's Emanuel Esteves getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brasil in the 64th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's attentive Emanuel Esteves managed to snatch the ball when Ezequiel Velasco made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Dowdall came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković. But to his dismay, Poul Stanković quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Clube Audax Metropolitano made a substitution. Alfredinho Rosa replaced Emanuel Esteves. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Bruno Aleixo was substituted for Claudinho Quadros. 75 minutes into the game, Valdir Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Santo Lano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Nilson do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd match minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Mattos to maneuver through the defense. If Poul Stanković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Poul Stanković tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Poul Stanković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Bandelocos defense, Poul Stanković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. The Bandelocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson do Vale should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Poul Stanković reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilson do Vale. The goal made the score 1-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clube Audax Metropolitano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
