Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Brasil in the 21st minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Tronconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson do Vale. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dowdall in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Montemayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Harold Tronconi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale. After some careless play in the Bandelocos defense, Ximenes Montemayor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. The Bandelocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson do Vale should have stopped the shot. The corner led to Bandelocos's Billy Dowdall getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Harold Tronconi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Tronconi in the 82nd minute of play.
