Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar de Moraes started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Éder Madureira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Salles in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Papunhas EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beto Heidemann who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Beto Heidemann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre did a great save. Benedito Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Valério Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Beto Heidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagarana Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Heidemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Nazario Serre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. Papunhas EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beto Heidemann ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sagarana Clube's Beto Heidemann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Oswaldo Prado got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bruno Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Vander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedito Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Vander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. Paulo Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Papunhas EC's Benedito Trigo threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdemar de Moraes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yu Yang Sang was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 56th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Trigo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes. But to his dismay, Valdemar de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Madureira in the 61st minute of play. Ismael Nazario Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio da Cunha got free with Ismael Nazario Serre in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Sagarana Clube's Fábio da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Salles in the 70th minute of play. Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 77th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Sagarana Clube's Mazinho Ferraz was substituted for Bruno Salles. After 83 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Vander. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre got control of the ball when Fábio da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Heidemann came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio da Cunha got free with Ismael Nazario Serre in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Éder Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Mazinho Ferraz took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Sagarana Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
