Grzegorz Siekierski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Jeronimo Rico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grzegorz Siekierski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Stefan Rasiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Gadea in the 19th minute of play. Per-Oskar Ekgren made a great header on GeRaÇãO-83's corner, it was just that America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Rico got free with Grzegorz Siekierski in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski got control of the ball when Jeronimo Rico tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grzegorz Siekierski. That made the score 4-0 after 24 minutes of play. After 26 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Ekgren. Jeronimo Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Siekierski having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Medero Gadea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Rasiak was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match America Futebol Clube SP got a corner. GeRaÇãO-83's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeronimo Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's Per-Oskar Ekgren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Eduardo Paraibano, made in the 40th minute of the game. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Rasiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Rico made a kick off. Luiz Eduardo Paraibano made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GeRaÇãO-83's Per-Oskar Ekgren. Per-Oskar Ekgren hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Iago Bala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America Futebol Clube SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Jorginho Quirino replaced Tadeu Xavier. Iago Bala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medero Gadea got free with Stefan Rasiak in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iago Bala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
