An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 6th minute of play forced Leão de Judá's goalkeeper Gadiel Gadov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Cesinha Pitta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski did a great save. Edin Džeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gadiel Gadov having to make a save. Gadiel Gadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caetano De Bruyne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Severino Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Leão de Judá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Azevedo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Leão de Judá booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Medero Gadea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Leão de Judá's Gadiel Gadov got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Leão de Judá getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristóvão Bezerra hit a great ball. Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gadiel Gadov made a huge save. Edin Džeko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. GeRaÇãO-83's Per-Oskar Ekgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristóvão Bezerra in the 81 minute of the game.
