Afonso da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when São Paulo Leste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes of play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Pena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Paulo Renato Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gao Kun Mo's late challenge caught a CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gao Kun Mo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Gao Kun Mo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Leendert Looze came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 36th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Paulo Renato Vidal with Maximilian Mellberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Evaristo Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 41st minute of play. Afonso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Evaristo Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 43rd minute of play. The São Paulo Leste F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were winning 0-3.

If Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso da Cunhas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Evaristo Pena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein in the 93rd minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Wlodzimierz Swoboda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Stanislaw Turacki hit a great ball. Afonso da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Evaristo Pena made a huge save. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
