Landulfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrão Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 7 minutes, Arne Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leões do Sul 53's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Kullander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Rony Rüşti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leões do Sul 53 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Napoleone in the 11th minute of play. Andrea Napoleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Westerberg in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Landulfos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hílton Britto who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Leandro Custódio was a little too slow when Pedrão Pereira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-2. Leandro Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Pedrão Pereira took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Leandro Custódio to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kraig Sandoval hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Westerberg was the one to do the kick off. Pedrão Pereira struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Leandro Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landulfos FC. Leões do Sul 53's Börje Westerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Pereira in the 62nd minute of the match. If Pedrão Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Pedrão Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Pedrão Pereira notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Landulfos FC.
