Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilgot Tidéksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Santxol, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Amado Cuartio made a great header on Rivermania FC's corner, it was just that Cosmopolitan FC's Vilgot Tidéksson managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmopolitan FC's zone, Rosendo Flor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilgot Tidéksson came out of the goal and Rosendo Flor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rivermania FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Bazkoare in the 38th minute. The corner ended in Victor Bazkoare almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosmopolitan FC's Vilgot Tidéksson did a great save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Lorencio to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Rivermania FC's corner Victor Bazkoare fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vilgot Tidéksson quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abuy Husodo got free with Vilgot Tidéksson in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cosmopolitan FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rivermania FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
