The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matej Čaplovič came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rivermania FC's Erasmo Lorencio. But to his dismay, Erasmo Lorencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Matej Čaplovič was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Erasmo Lorencio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Lorencio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Matej Čaplovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Kushka came free, but Severino Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matej Čaplovič had great luck who in the 16thth minute grab hold of the ball when Erasmo Lorencio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Rosendo Flor notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Real Madryt's Matej Čaplovič. The Real Madryt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matej Čaplovič should have stopped the shot. Matej Čaplovič was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abuy Husodo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Real Madryt's goalkeeper Matej Čaplovič had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Flor. 40 minutes into the match, Real Madryt's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Lorencio came free, but Matej Čaplovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yevgen Kharchenko's late challenge caught a Rivermania FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yevgen Kharchenko helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Madryt getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Yevgen Kharchenko hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Ostap Dorosh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Ungheanu to make the kick off. The Rivermania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Rivermania FC's Ana Tatangelo was substituted for Erasmo Lorencio. The audience was convinced that Rosendo Flor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matej Čaplovič was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Matej Čaplovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ana Tatangelo in the 89th minute of play.
