Pogoń Szczecin's Marian Kajfasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Dracena in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beyhan Oğuztüzün in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Kajfasz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kamil Momodus short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Marian Kajfasz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Kisiel. With a little luck, Pogoń Szczecin's Marian Kajfasz got control of the ball when Kamil Momodu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Krzysztof Mochadlo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Felenak to maneuver through the defense. Bornova's Fernando Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bornova's Kamil Momodu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marian Kajfasz. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Pogoń Szczecin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet scored to the left of an out of position Marian Kajfasz, making the score, 2-0. Marian Kajfasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Dracena in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Pogoń Szczecin's Marian Kajfasz got control of the ball when Kamil Momodu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Şafak Taze hit a great ball.

Bornova were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Pogoń Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Dracena took the corner. The corner led Bornova's Fernando Dracena to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Kajfasz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ahmet Nafiz Özilter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Kajfasz having to interfere. 严桦泉 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marian Kajfasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Mochadlo got free with Sonny Alén in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Bornova's Kamil Momodu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Kajfasz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bornova fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pogoń Szczecin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
