The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paolo Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Gunter Roeckeloes made a huge save. In the 4th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gunter Roeckeloes. Gunter Roeckeloes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benigno Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunter Roeckeloes having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Benigno Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Jaizki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunter Roeckeloes. Eustaquio Jaizki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunter Roeckeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, KFC Cromvelde's Quillian Cromefeldt made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-2 became the score in the 41st minute when Willem-Alexander Vercauteren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quillian Cromefeldt in the 44th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Concetto Cesare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quillian Cromefeldt made a kick off. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Hendrik Specht got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quillian Cromefeldt in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Quillian Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Carlos Germano however easily saved by the left post. KFC Cromvelde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joppe Wortelers in the 91st minute. Fabio Artaldo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta! Quillian Cromefeldt took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. The Club Atlético Atlanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KFC Cromvelde's performance. The match ended with a win for KFC Cromvelde.
