In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Francesco came free, but Kristiaan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurgen De Rudder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kristiaan Van de Velde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Eliézer de Sousa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Damian Precioso might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristiaan Van de Velde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quirce Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quirce Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
