The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Altay Bayındır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Lehoi's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute Håkan Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adama Madama. In the 15th match minute, Honung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Šuker came free, but Altay Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honung's Teofil Lewicki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Moon in the 55th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Camillo Moriggi with Abraham Moon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Aristide Beșliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Moon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SARI ZEYBEK's Altay Bayındır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Šuker in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Apelkvist in the 65th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Oskar Apelkvist came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altay Bayındır acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juan Manuel Vargas. Honung made a substitution. With a little luck, SARI ZEYBEK's Altay Bayındır got control of the ball when Håkan Šuker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Son Adam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aristide Beșliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Altay Bayındır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Šuker. The corner ended in Teofil Lewicki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SARI ZEYBEK's Altay Bayındır did a great save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SARI ZEYBEK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honung had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
