After a defensive mix-up in SV PM Cottbus's zone, Feliks Maciejewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Tenbruck came out of the goal and Feliks Maciejewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SV PM Cottbus getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Michael Blankenburg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Niva in the 36th minute of play forced Boreham Wood FC's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Kilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wlodzimierz Kilarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Niva in the 37th minute of the match. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Wlodzimierz Kilarski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Niva's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Boreham Wood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Renger came free, but Wlodzimierz Kilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
