A sloppy throw-in by Ni in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Aaron Cresitobalo. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. Higinio Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Stehr in the 28th minute. Andreas Stehr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play.
