Without hesitation aimed to the right of 邵翔邦, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Central Coast Mariners's 邵翔邦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 武树翔 in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Central Coast Mariners got a freekick which was hit by 倪凌斌. 邵翔邦 was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 武树翔. 41 minutes into the match, Central Coast Mariners's goal looked a bit too open when 武树翔 came free, but 邵翔邦 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 布里斯托流浪足球俱乐部 booed when Central Coast Mariners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. 倪凌斌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 毛默俊 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, 毛默俊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 邵翔邦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 钱晨鹏, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored 布里斯托流浪足球俱乐部's protests and gave 武树翔 a yellow card for diving instead. 邱思邦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. 邵翔邦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
