George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arneil Trossero having to make a save. When Linus Skoglund fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I Rossoneri's protests and gave Linus Skoglund a yellow card for diving instead. Linus Skoglund hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Adam Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arneil Trossero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Gurlui in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to I Rossoneri getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tim Östlund hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, I Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when George Buzoianu came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Podgoreanu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vlad Enătescu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vlad Enătescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Buzoianu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arneil Trossero saved I Rossoneri from getting behind. George Buzoianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arneil Trossero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Buzoianu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Gurlui in the 47th minute of play forced I Rossoneri's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Buzoianu to make the kick off. If Adam Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Bergdal came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, I Rossoneri's Adam Bergdal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zsigmond Pál was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arneil Trossero made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Buzoianu in the 66th minute. The throw-in from Josef Smitt in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Vlad Enătescu. George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arneil Trossero having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Buzoianu got free with Arneil Trossero in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Buzoianu in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Bergdal came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Pál came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by I Rossoneri's Adam Bergdal. But to his dismay, Adam Bergdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 80 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Linus Skoglund came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the I Rossoneri defense, George Buzoianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arneil Trossero. The I Rossoneri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arneil Trossero should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute Adam Bergdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Tărbac hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
