The crowd rose to their feet as Zico Zellier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Benedetti. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Alex Benedetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Zico Zellier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Benedetti, 3-0. Alex Benedetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Sven-Edvin Jansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Benedetti came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Edvin Jansson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Sven-Edvin Jansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sborricchio fc's Alex Benedetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sborricchio fc from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, GuateFortín's Thierry Henry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Benedetti. Alex Benedetti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet as GuateFortín's Zico Zellier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Benedetti. That made the score 9-0 after 43 minutes of play. With a little luck, Sborricchio fc's Alex Benedetti got control of the ball when Sven-Edvin Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thierry Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sborricchio fc's Alex Benedetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Costa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Villanueva replaced Sven-Edvin Jansson. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Thierry Henry. In the 71stth minute of the game Mario Gomez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sborricchio fc's Alex Benedetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Sborricchio fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Camillo Barbato came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nery Pumpido could save by the left post. In the 76th minute Sborricchio fc were awarded a corner. Alvaro Perna went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sborricchio fc's Felice Sciarra to fire away a dangerous shot which Nery Pumpido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Pablo Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Alex Benedetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga made it 13-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Benedetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. Nery Pumpido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camillo Barbato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 13-2 in the 85 minute of play. Pablo Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Benedetti having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play Sborricchio fc's Felice Sciarra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 89 played minutes Sborricchio fc got a freekick which was hit by Felice Sciarra. Mario Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gomez in the 94th minute of play forced Sborricchio fc's goalkeeper Alex Benedetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that GuateFortín were the better team. GuateFortín's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
