When Mei Wei Li came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the West Staines Massive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mei Wei Li couldn't finish the play. Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Gang Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roelof Zeevenhoven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Decathlon Dudes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mei Wei Li was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 33 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Rahmi Bostancı. 37 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Mei Wei Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Lucas Mårtensson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kong Gang Feng made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Kong Gang Feng got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dirk-Jan van Bronckhorst was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlo Moek hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Decathlon Dudes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. West Staines Massive walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
