The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Emilio Ferrante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Sandaili. Vélez Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Ferrante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nicolas Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ferrante, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Bernabe Urki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili did a great save. Emilio Ferrante struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nicolas Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PICCOLE PESTI. PICCOLE PESTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernabe Urki in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Bernabe Urki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili did a great save. A collision led to PICCOLE PESTI getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Edwin 雷冰 hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Enetz to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Sandaili came free, but Elia Ciscato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ferrante, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Emilio Ferrante came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the PICCOLE PESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Ferrante couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Machado in the 31st minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Elia Ciscato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Ferrante in the 35th minute of play. Nicolas Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Ferrante in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Raul Enetz. 41 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ferrante came free, but Nicolas Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Ferrante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Sandaili having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Godoy to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Emilio Ferrante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Raul Enetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vélez Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PICCOLE PESTI the free kick. Raul Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match, Emilio Ferrante tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Sandaili saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Emilio Ferrante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. PICCOLE PESTI made a substitution. Pietruzzu Rizzi replaced Emilio Ferrante. PICCOLE PESTI's Tom Jakobsson was substituted for Don Frye. If Pietruzzu Rizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Pietruzzu Rizzi came free, but Nicolas Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nicolas Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietruzzu Rizzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pietruzzu Rizzi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Sandaili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietruzzu Rizzi in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Raul Enetz got a free kick in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Chu Le Ao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PICCOLE PESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Juniors the free kick. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Anacleto Eztebe replaced Tomás Bordat. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chu Le Ao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Pietruzzu Rizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PICCOLE PESTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernabe Urki in the 91st minute. With his leg Nicolas Sandaili managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when PICCOLE PESTI's Pietruzzu Rizzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The PICCOLE PESTI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
