Benito Guillelmus hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vélez Juniors! The goalkeeper, Ulises Sandaili, was totally fooled by TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. TZILACATZIN's Matias Gorri got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Tomás Bordat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vélez Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TZILACATZIN the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Tomás Bordat got a free kick in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as TZILACATZIN's Matias Gorri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulises Sandaili. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. 31 minutes into the match, Salvadore González notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vélez Juniors's Ulises Sandaili. Ulises Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulises Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore González in the 36th minute of play. Salvadore González could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ulises Sandaili made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Machado made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Albino Calisto in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vélez Juniors's Anacleto Eztebe. In the 59th minute, Salvadore González got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vélez Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Ulises Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Matias Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Edu das Neves's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when TZILACATZIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, TZILACATZIN's Edu das Neves got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ulises Sandaili came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by TZILACATZIN's Matias Gorri. But to his dismay, Matias Gorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Nicolas Sandaili hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Machado in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TZILACATZIN had played much better football throughout.
