Tomás Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Maximino Navarro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilian Motta. Maximino Navarro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Wilian Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Ruisko. Amancio Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Motta having to interfere. Dagoberto Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Wilian Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Navarro in the 30th minute. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Raul Enetz hit a great ball. Ladislao Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Wilian Motta made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Adilson Meira put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Sandaili. In the 44th minute 秦枫正 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vélez Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Dagoberto Camargo scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Sandaili, making the score, 1-3. In the 72nd minute Ladislao Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Borys Trac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Ulises Sandaili replaced Amancio Godoy. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Trac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vélez Juniors had held the ball for most of the match.
