Alcides Silveira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Higinio Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Silviano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Madeo in the 13th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Castro took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Sandaili. Nicolas Sandaili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ramón Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Tomás Bordat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Silviano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Alcides Silveira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Ladislao Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Machado's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Alfredo Rojas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Sandaili was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ademar Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alfredo Rojas made the kick off in the second half. La Candela FC's Flavio Ariando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Enetz in the 51 minute of the game. 52 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Castro came free, but Nicolas Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Candela FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Vélez Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cai Bing Cheng took the corner. The corner led La Candela FC's Cai Bing Cheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Sandaili despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicolas Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Navarro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Castro in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Sandaili saved Vélez Juniors from getting behind. After 67 minutes of play, Vélez Juniors's Maximino Navarro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Silviano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Sandaili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademar Castro's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Nicolas Sandaili didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Candela FC's Ademar Castro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Rodriguez during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Rodriguez. 95 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Navarro.
