The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Piast Leszczyny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Mazierski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Vélez Juniors's Higinio Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jakub Wieczorek. Jakub Wieczorek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Grzegorz Pozorski kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vélez Juniors's Higinio Machado tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Ruisko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakub Wieczorek. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Konrad Siekierski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ladislao Ruisko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jakub Wieczorek firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Machado in the 32nd minute of play forced Piast Leszczyny's goalkeeper Jakub Wieczorek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Piast Leszczyny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Galagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakub Wieczorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Sandaili in the 35th minute of play. If Ulises Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Edward Galagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Higinio Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jakub Wieczorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Sandaili in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Konrad Siekierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Benito Guillelmus. After 55 minutes of play, Vélez Juniors's Emilio Serafo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakub Wieczorek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Galagan's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Galagan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Piast Leszczyny getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edward Galagan hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Piast Leszczyny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Mazierski to maneuver through the defense. Piast Leszczyny made a substitution. Konrad Leper replaced Edward Galagan. Vélez Juniors's Rogelio Madeo was substituted for Ulises Sandaili. A collision led to Piast Leszczyny getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Edward Galagan hit a great ball. Jakub Wieczorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Madeo in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Serafo in the 76th minute of play forced Piast Leszczyny's goalkeeper Jakub Wieczorek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Higinio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vélez Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakub Wieczorek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
