An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 3rd minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Zé Augusto Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Otten's Olaf Lübke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Zé Augusto Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmir Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Vielmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Tavares during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Flavinho Tavares hit a great ball. Jorginho Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Zé Augusto Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Lübke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walmir Leme. That made the score 1-2 after 22 minutes of play. Lupere FC - DMZ's Walmir Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirco Maier in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Hansjörg Görlitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Otten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupere FC - DMZ the free kick. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hansjörg Görlitz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Otten's zone, Dalmo Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Lübke came out of the goal and Dalmo Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hansjörg Görlitz hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sargon Baek kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Walmir Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 41st minute of the match. The SC Otten players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lupere FC - DMZ were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when SC Otten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Vielmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Madureira. In the 68th minute, Lupere FC - DMZ's Valdo Mazza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valdo Mazza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lupere FC - DMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valdo Mazza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Lupere FC - DMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Otten:s goal. Walmir Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Tenhagen in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Vielmann came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Lübke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto Mineiro in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Tenhagen came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
