Pablo Marko started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Aurken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Pablo Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Balesio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Daniel Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper German Ourente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Iraido. German Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Isaio in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Robustiano Milio hit a great ball. When Marco Oier came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vikingos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Oier couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Daniel Balesio was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Daniel Balesio got a free kick in the 24th minute. German Ourente was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marco Oier. Rogelio Iraido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but German Ourente firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pablo Marko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of German Ourente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rogelio Iraido scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Ourente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Rogelio Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pablo Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafaela FC's German Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Marko in the 51st minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Marko in the 55th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper German Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Marko came free, but German Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Eztebe's late challenge caught a Rafaela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Eztebe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Braulio Eztebe got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Pablo Marko sped through Rafaela FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Ourente. In the 69th minute of the match Romeo Raphael shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Cordarrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Pablo Marko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. German Ourente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes of play, Vikingos FC's Sixto Mero made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Ourente was left in no man's land by his defense there! German Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Marko, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The audience was convinced that Pablo Marko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Ourente was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vikingos FC had played much better football throughout.
