Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Eustacio Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s protests and gave Eustacio Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Eustacio Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Jhon Barcellos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Loco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximiliano Salomon hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Epifanio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Simão in the 6th minute of play. If Sandy Ogrocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Loco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Jose Abechuco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ulysses Neto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Palestra do Interior's Ulysses Neto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulysses Neto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palestra do Interior protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulysses Neto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palestra do Interior! Palestra do Interior:s Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed great skill when he stopped Gaston Demario:s penalty. In the 32ndth minute of the game Serafim Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Epifanio Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Fantini during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Lehen was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 47th match minute, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Lehen to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafim Simão to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Almeida. 56 minutes into the match, Dorival Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Loco, 0-1. Epifanio Loco made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Serafim Simão sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Gaston Demario. But to his dismay, Gaston Demario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Epifanio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Simão in the 83rd minute of play. With his leg Epifanio Loco managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zeledon Ovando hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
