Rafaela FC's German Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Soeiro in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Fiori Souto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rafaela FC's German Ourente. German Ourente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee ignored Bitelon FC - SAF's protests and gave Bruninho Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonides Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Fiori Souto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rafaela FC's German Ourente. German Ourente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. German Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Penha in the 37th minute of the match. Valdomiro Penha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bruninho Quadros hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Romeo Raphael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Faustão Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiori Souto to make the kick off. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Araújo hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Laerte Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
