Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Baptista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Baptista in the 3rd minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ollie Flesfadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Mazza. With a little luck, Lupere FC - DMZ's Walmir Leme got control of the ball when Olliver Todman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Everett Kiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gonçalo Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Flesfadar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradley Obree hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Berkeley Glover dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walmir Leme, 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Jardel Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Australian Youth Academy the free kick. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jardel Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Schutt to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ollie Flesfadar having to make a save. Ollie Flesfadar came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Gonçalo Baptista. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Baptista in the 45th minute of play. Zé Augusto Mineiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berkeley Glover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Baptista. In the 62nd match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Casper Keato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmir Leme. Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olliver Todman kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Jardel Guimarães broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ollie Flesfadar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto Mineiro in the 75th minute. With his leg Ollie Flesfadar managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Lupere FC - DMZ's Zé Augusto Mineiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 81 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Tavares. Flavinho Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Baptista came free, but Ollie Flesfadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lupere FC - DMZ defense, Dakota Gaffigan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmir Leme. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Leme should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lupere FC - DMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Australian Youth Academy.
