The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Generoso Lehior sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Cordarrell skillfully saved the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Weterio came free, but Adolfo Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Gaston Ubarna made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Cordarrell. Vikingos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Gaston Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Ubarna came free, but Adolfo Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Sixto Mero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Delfino came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adolfo Cordarrell could save by the left post. The nice shot from Silverio Delfino in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Adolfo Cordarrell had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Generoso Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Lehior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Lehior. 41 minutes into the game, Faustino Weterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soroca F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos FC the free kick. Faustino Weterio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Desiderio Modestio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Desiderio Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Ubarna came free, but Adolfo Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Cordarrell having to interfere. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Arthur Theakston replaced Silverio Delfino. In the 72nd minute, Benjamin Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Weterio in the 76th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Faustino Weterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Gaston Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Uriel Precioso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Cordarrell was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Arthur Theakston charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Theakston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gaston Ubarna hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Weterio in the 95th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Soroca F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
