Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Serafim Simão took the kick off in the first half of the match. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Simão got free with Olaf Lübke in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mel Ecker in the 18th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Simão scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Lübke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafim Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Olaf Lübke made a huge save. After 25th play minutes Jhon Barcellos shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Olaf Lübke and just under the crossbar into goal. 30 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Mirco Maier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Jhon Barcellos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Otten's Olaf Lübke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Dorival Almeida got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, William Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen was substituted for Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt. SC Otten made a substitution. Ronnie Schilder replaced Mel Ecker. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ulysses Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Jhon Barcellos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ronnie Schilder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante, 2-3. With 70 minutes on the clock, Hellmuth Mönch commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 70 minutes into the game, one of SC Otten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Palestra do Interior. Serafim Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olaf Lübke. 3-3. After 79 minutes of play, Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Lübke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rudi Tenhagen scored 4-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Carlos Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Tenhagen in the 88th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronnie Schilder took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Carlos Cavalcante. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. In the 96th minute, Serafim Simão made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-5. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
