The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berkeley Glover blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan Pizzuto having to make a save. In the 6thth minute of the game Berkeley Glover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Templars FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Australian Youth Academy:s goal. Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Dylan Pizzuto had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 19th minute, Peppino Azzopardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Glover in the 20th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Pizzuto came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Australian Youth Academy's Berkeley Glover. But to his dismay, Berkeley Glover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Cassola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkeley Glover in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dakota Gaffigan. Dylan Pizzuto made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Olliver Todman sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 38 in the game by Olliver Todman from a close distance when the talented Dylan Pizzuto managed to make a qualified save. Templars FC's players were relieved. Ollie Flesfadar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Aquilina went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Olliver Todman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Dylan Pizzuto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olliver Todman to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olliver Todman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dylan Pizzuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dylan Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkeley Glover in the 58th minute of the match. Everett Kiel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olliver Todman in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peppino Azzopardi got free with Ollie Flesfadar in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peppino Azzopardi in the 67th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Ollie Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Todman in the 72nd minute of play. Dylan Pizzuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkeley Glover, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dylan Pizzuto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dylan Pizzuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkeley Glover in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Mark Borg Xuereb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Templars FC and the Australian Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mark Borg Xuereb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ollie Flesfadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Obree's late challenge caught a Templars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bradley Obree helped the player get up and apologised. Mark Borg Xuereb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
