The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gigi Brânzaș fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Gigi Brânzaș a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Brânzaș. LOS BLANCOS's Deng Kun Xu got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, LOS BLANCOS's Deng Kun Xu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Deng Kun Xu struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Thomás Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS BLANCOS. 19 minutes into the game, LOS BLANCOS's Deng Kun Xu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Kun Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, LOS BLANCOS's Deng Kun Xu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, LOS BLANCOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Baudino to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Celsinho Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- and the LOS BLANCOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Deng Kun Xu sped through ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomás Linares. 46 minutes into the match, LOS BLANCOS's goalkeeper Everardo Mingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOS BLANCOS were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deng Kun Xu to make the kick off. Marcel Petculescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Thomás Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deng Kun Xu in the 53rd minute. Ilmi Duka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Linares having to interfere. Deng Kun Xu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Huștiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, LOS BLANCOS's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Zgrăbunţa came free, but Everardo Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Celsinho Pereira in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LOS BLANCOS's Ilmi Duka. In the 65th minute, LOS BLANCOS's Deng Kun Xu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomás Linares. Thomás Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Deng Kun Xu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Linares came out of the goal and Deng Kun Xu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deng Kun Xu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Deng Kun Xu came free, but Thomás Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Deng Kun Xu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomás Linares. The goal made the score 1-6. Thomás Linares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deng Kun Xu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 86 minute of play. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOS BLANCOS's performance. The match ended with a win for LOS BLANCOS.
