Justino Frederico lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bernardo Raggio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernanco Peso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Sporting Cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfino Rosario to maneuver through the defense. When Pawel Grabowicz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Belgrano de Pibasog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Grabowicz couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Iruegas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernanco Peso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 28th playminute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Judas Verón to make the kick off. Jon Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Fortun in the 51st minute of play. Jon Iruegas was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Judas Verón capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Judas Verón really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 59th minute, Fernanco Peso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Iruegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garcia Morros in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Eustaquio Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Iruegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jon Iruegas managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. Sporting Cristal made a substitution. Frank Tassotti replaced Delfino Rosario. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Sporting Cristal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Grabowicz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Timo Haydon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jon Iruegas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Luciano in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cazimir Gogea who took care of the corner kick.
